Lift's iconic motif is inspired by the ironwork of the elevator at 24 Faubourg Saint Honoré. It represents two intertwined H's, that stands for the marriage between Emile Hermès and Julie Hollande in 1900.
In 1980, the stylist and designer Catherine de Karolyi had the idea of using this emblematic motif first on a buckle, then a handbag clasp, followed by the iconic Lift pendant.
In very good condition. Comes with box.
